Mail art by Monte Con O Sin Safos and Karen Elliott (Richmond, Virginia, USA)
We have received yet another Neoist missive from Richmond, Virginia, USA. This time a stamp on the envelope identifies Monte Con O Sin Safos (Monty Cantsin) as the sender. The content is classically Neoist, accurate in every way (see letter above). This would almost seem to be a letter caught in some strange time vortex or released from a cosmic Dead Letter Office. tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE has made some far-fetched claims concerning time travel. We are beginning to consider them seriously.
Like the previous Neoist missive received from Richmond, this one has been burnt. This was done on a manual typewriter, but those are trendy these days in m-a circles:
The reverse side refers to Karen Elliott [sic] and the famed Neoist zine Smile:
When it comes to Neoism, we are as intrigued and perplexed as ever. So any enlightenment would be much appreciated. Thanks (we guess) to Monte Con O Sin Safos.
Here is an earlier Karen Eliot piece from Richmond:
